Landmark Oaks Development

2921 Landmark Place,

Madison, WI

The Landmark Oaks Development, completed in 2018, is a striking addition to Madison’s growing west beltline, often referred to as “Madison’s Miracle Mile.” Situated at 2921 Landmark Place, this five-story Class A commercial office building represents over 15 years of planning and development. Spanning more than 100,000 square feet, the structure serves as a modern focal point for the area, embodying both functionality and aesthetic appeal. A key element of the project’s vision was preserving the site’s natural beauty, most notably the three historic oak trees, each over 175 years old, which were carefully saved and now feature prominently in Bruer Park.

The design and construction of Landmark Oaks were meticulously executed with sustainability and architectural integrity in mind. Rock unearthed during excavation was crushed and reused on-site for the parking lot, while the building itself incorporates a blend of brick, stone, metal panels, and Nichiha composite siding. The structure follows rigorous “Energy Conservation Measures,” with advanced HVAC systems in place, bike racks for commuters, and an electric vehicle charging station, demonstrating the project’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Beyond its immediate impact on the west beltline, Landmark Oaks offers the Madison community a stunning new commercial space with views from one of the highest elevations in the city. The development enriches the local landscape, contributing to both the economic and aesthetic appeal of the region.
